As it turned out, the friend who gave me the voucher (see earlier blog entry) had not read my email due to her busy work schedule. Last week, while clearing her emails, she saw what I wrote and immediately called me to apologise.
I shunned her calls the whole day and only answered the second day. She said she did not think I would be using the voucher, that's why she decided to use it. If I wasn't intending to use the voucher, I wouldn't have taken it.
Anyway, that was the closure. I told her never to do that again and she agreed.
Apology accepted.
